Artistic career
I attended the evening academy at the Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst. I left the country before starting my planned studies. Afterwards, I continued my education through self-study. My 21-year stay in North Africa had a decisive influence on my artistic work.
Since my return to Germany in 1994, I have taken part in exhibitions at home and abroad, including

Description of the works:
The magic of nature, light, colours and shapes are the motifs of my paintings and the source of my inspiration. Through experimental research and an intuitive approach to colour, material and technique, unrestricted by rules or styles, I have developed my own pictorial language - imaginative, creative and imaginary. The landscapes of Africa, the Sahara, the magic of the Orient and the colours and light of the South are reflected in my works.
