Vita Katharina Hansen-Gluschitz - Landschaftsbilder
Katharina Hansen-Gluschitz 3
I was born in 1959 as the child of German parents in Colombia and spent my childhood in the highlands of Bogotá. In 1972, I moved to Germany, completed my schooling and computer science studies in Hamburg, then moved to Munich, lived in Norderstedt from 1990 to 2016, and have been living in Hamburg since 2017.
Since 1985, I have been working diligently on my qualification as an artist. I studied drawing and modeling with the Hungarian sculptor Emese Zavory, and while acquiring my basic skills as a sculptor with Thomas Behrendt, I learned watercolor painting from Ulrich von Bock. My works are inspired by the impressions of numerous excursions. I have participated in many group exhibitions and have also regularly held my own exhibitions in various spaces.
Über Katharina Hansen-Gluschitz Landschaftsbilder
In acrylic painting, and especially in watercolor, color is a reflection of my soul, which I capture in form and use to touch the soul of the viewer. I see my art as a bridge between myself and the people who encounter it.
Since 2006, I have been a member of the Norderstedt Art Circle e.V. Since 2007, I have been teaching painting and drawing to children and adults. In 2008, I was awarded the Art and Culture Prize by the Segeberg District. From 2009 to 2015, I was a member of the Artistic Advisory Board of the Norderstedt Art Circle e.V. and also designed their website. Since March 2020, I have been the 2nd chairperson of the association.
In this exhibition, the artist presents calm **landscape paintings** in acrylic. Most of the works are in shades of green and blue, depicting meadows, lakes, forests, and clearings in the changing seasons and light. The viewer is offered a true haven of peace on canvas.
