Roswitha Klotz
Roswitha Klotz (Regensburg) is a painter and classical pianist. After graduating from high school, she studied music at the University of Music and Theater in Munich and was a guest student at the Academy of Fine Arts there. Painting and music are her constant companions. Artistic work in both areas became an essential part of Roswitha Klotz’s life. The timbres of music and imaginary visual color tones and structures are also reflected in Roswitha Klotz’s paintings. This is a defining feature of her entire artistic work. Since 2000, she has intensified her artistic work. She works primarily traditionally with brushes, spatulas, oil pastels and oil on paper and canvas. Since my early youth I have been interested in painting and art in general, its history and development up to the present day. I work with different stylistic means and use different techniques.
Many of my works are therefore primarily abstract. Ideally, they should reach the viewer emotionally and touch them positively.
My intention is to appeal to the viewer’s emotional world with my work. My world of expression is predominantly abstract. Overlays and color layers serve the wide range of expression in color themes and structures. My work reflects my positive attitude towards our environment. My main concern is to show the wonderful color intensity of nature and to make the positive energy of its colors visible in order to convey inner strength and serenity.
