Yasmin Shafi Beikli comes from Düsseldorf, was born in 1986 and lives with her family in Dortmund, where she works for a telecommunications company and found her way to art at the end of 2022. She is self-taught and translates her emotions and color inspirations artistically using various techniques. She concentrates mainly on abstract works, which she paints mainly with acrylic and combines with other materials. In September 2023 she had her first exhibition at the Gartenflair in Bodelschwingh Castle in Dortmund, followed by a 4-week group exhibition in “Das Zimmer” in Bochum.
She last exhibited virtually in a gala in Athens and London in January 2024. In the same month, her picture was voted 6th place in the 14th Art Online Prize. Currently 6 of her works are exhibited at the Antropologie in Hamburg until May 2024.

Über Yasmin Shafi Beiklis farbenfrohe & dynamische Kunstwerke

Her colorfu and dynamic artworks are created in multiple layers of paint, with a focus on the depth of color. Dark backgrounds become vibrant explosions of color, inviting you to dive into the details. Both liquid and other
color consistencies are used in her paintings. With her art, she wants to express that there is not always only black and white or colorful, but that there is a lot in between and that everything can be combined with each other.
