Rebecca Lindlahr
Painter from Deutschland
Biography of Rebecca Lindlahr
Born on March 25, 1974 in Bergisch Gladbach.
Raised in Hennef an der Sieg, residing in Bad Honnef on the Rhine since 2003.
From an early age, Rebecca was already drawn to the world of art and painting – preferably on freshly wallpapered "patterned walls." Her favorite painting materials at the time included diaper cream and wax crayons. At the age of 8, her first drawing of “Blankenberg Castle,” done in felt-tip pen, was published in the *General-Anzeiger* newspaper.
Rebecca later completed vocational training as a print media producer, specializing in reproduction photography.
Reproducing dull math books wasn’t fulfilling enough, so she went on to complete a second apprenticeship as a media designer.
At the same time, she discovered her passion for music and has been singing in three different bands to this day.
She also works part-time at an elementary school in Bad Honnef, where she leads creative workshops, sewing machine classes, and more.

About the art of Rebecca Lindlahr
In her artwork, Rebecca loves bold, fiery colors and strong contrasts.
She often works in black and white as well, in order not to overwhelm the viewer with additional color information.
Some of her works address current issues and contradictions, placing her art in a socio-cultural discourse.
She enjoys bringing together seemingly unrelated elements on a single canvas, creating unity out of opposition.
With three-dimensional elements, she forms new structures.
By incorporating everyday objects, concrete, epoxy resin, metal sheets, or even food items, Rebecca creates both extraordinary and familiar pieces.
