Biography of Axel Gronert
Born in 1974 near Dresden, the artist currently lives and works in Hamburg. He trained in electrical engineering and became a trainer, later studying media informatics and communication design. Since 1998, he has been a freelance artist and organizational consultant at an American company, as well as a Channel Manager in the software industry.

About the art of Axel Gronert
The black-and-white canvas paintings by Axel Gronert, titled *Wellenformation*, were created in 1997 as part of a communication project and have since evolved. It was fueled by constant contemplation of emotions, their expressions, and the many different ways to convey feelings.
