Rudolf Rox Biography & Artistic Vision
Born in 1965 in Königswinter, Germany, Rudolf Rox first trained as a painter and varnisher, successfully passing his master craftsman examination at the Chamber of Crafts in Cologne in April 1992. He now *ives and works in Rheinbreitbach, Germany.
Fascinated by painting from an early age, Rox has a particular passion for depicting the human figure. His interest also lies in the **power of color and its impact. His contemporary paintings focus on expressive, sometimes bold and pop-inspired portraits, striving to create a connection between color symbolism and the subject or theme portrayed. In contrast to classical Pop Art, he describes his work as **"expressive pop."**
