About the art of Ute Röhe
My non-representational painting moves between spontaneity and control. I strive to connect key aspects such as color, light, and contour while experimenting with various techniques.
I have a strong affinity for vibrant colors and often draw inspiration for my abstract work from close-up observations of nature. The interplay between surface and line is a central element in the composition of my paintings, creating a dynamic balance between structure and fluidity.
