About the art of Erwin Grosse
Erwin Grosse’s *modern canvas paintings* feature silhouettes and shadowy figures set within bizarre landscapes. The scenes evoke dreams, and the forms within them are dynamic. It’s as if the lives of these soul beings play out in different realms or parallel worlds. The vivid, bold colors blues, ochres, and greensstir the imagination and evoke hidden memories in a deeply atmospheric manner. Each viewer may interpret the imagery differently, connecting with the scene in their own unique way. Some souls seem drawn together, while others turn away. Yet, no single figure ever appears alone; they always exist as part of a community. The images certainly hold a mystical quality. What do you perceive in them?
