About the art of Katharina Hoehler
Katharina Hoehler’s **abstract paintings** are featured in various gallery and private collections. In her abstract works, she employs a layering technique, meaning that she reworks the paintings multiple times, resulting in several layers of paint stacked upon one another. Upon closer inspection, one can still make out the structures of the original images beneath the layers. This method of working led to the title "Metamorphosis" for this particular series of paintings.
