Biography of Oliver Kornblum
Born in Wiesbaden in 1968, grew up in Hamburg.
2002: Diploma in Fine Arts and Graphic Design at the HAK in Hamburg, since then freelance artist with various exhibitions in galleries, museums and public buildings in Germany
(including Galerie Walentowski/Hamburg, Hamburg City Hall, German Maritime Museum/Bremerhaven, Galerie Kuhn & Partner/Berlin, Galerie Böhner/Mannheim) and abroad (`Park of the Future´/Amsterdam, Netherlands, France, Denmark, Galerie Art & Design/Galerie Artevistas, Barcelona, ??Spain).

About the art of Oliver Kornblum
The water is the dominant element, not pacified, but rather its power and imponderability highlighted and emphasized by the pasty application of paint. You want to step back, but you cannot escape the fascination of the sight. I emphasize this moment of dynamism, in which there is struggle and conquest, with expressive brushstrokes, contrasting colors and the perspective of the participant, not the observer.
