About the art of Andreas Hebestreit
From his own perspective:
"I don’t believe that modern art can be content in the long run with merely depicting the disconnection of the modern human. At some point, a hundred years of solitude is enough. The spaces I portray bring people into a relationship with one another, which, although quite questionable and precarious, at least possesses a certain internal logic, so to speak, case by case."
The modern art of Andreas Hebestreit is refreshingly different. He creates unique visual worlds that play with space, color, perspective, and themes. In constantly new combinations, he juggles people and spaces like an artist. As a viewer, one is captivated by these visual worlds and inevitably drawn to look deeper. What stands out particularly is the meticulous representation and delicacy. Andreas Hebestreit is a realistic painter who masterfully constructs dream and fantasy worlds on the canvas.
