Biography of Malmime
Born on April 15, 1972, in Beskardes, Kulu/Konya, Turkey, the artist now lives and works in Cologne, Germany. Fluent in German, Kurdish, and Turkish, he has been an independent artist working from his own studio in Cologne since 2007.
**Education and Professional Activities**
- Trained as an art educator.
- Advanced training in art therapy.
- Freelance art educator in various social projects, including the NRW state program *"Kultur und Schule"*.
- Lecturer in intercultural art education at the Cologne Institute for Cultural Work and Continuing Education.
- Leader of an art therapy group as part of the *Art of Life* project with the Gold-Krämer Foundation.
- Artistic advisor for the Kurdish edition of *Le Monde Diplomatique*.
