Biography of Malmime
Born on April 15, 1972, in Beskardes, Kulu/Konya, Turkey, the artist currently lives and works in Cologne, Germany. Fluent in German, Kurdish, and Turkish, he has been an independent artist operating from his own studio in Cologne since 2007.
Education and Professional Activities
- Trained as an art educator.
- Advanced studies in art therapy.
- Freelance work as an art educator in various social projects, including the NRW state program *"Kultur und Schule."*
- Lecturer in intercultural art education at the Cologne Institute for Cultural Work and Continuing Education.
- Leader of an art therapy group within the *Art of Life* project at the Gold-Krämer Foundation.
- Artistic advisor for the Kurdish edition of *Le Monde Diplomatique.*
