Born in 1959 in Hagen-Hohenlimburg, Sabine Hilscher has lived and worked in Windeck-Herchen since 1986.
Painting has been a constant in Hilscher’s life. Based in Windeck, she creates vibrant and expressive artworks that have gained recognition through numerous exhibitions both nationally and internationally. Most of her works are created on-site, capturing the unique atmosphere and mood of a place, blended with her artistic interpretation. Her artistic journey has been enriched through extensive painting seminars in Germany and abroad.
Since 2003, she has served as a lecturer at VHS Rhein-Sieg and teaches for the Schmincke company. She also offers private courses in small groups, providing personalized and professional instruction. She is the author of the book *"Watercolor Impressions Freely Interpreted."*
Artistic Focus*
Since 1994, Hilscher has been deeply engaged in watercolor painting and more recently has embraced acrylic painting. Her works are characterized by a fluid, light, and colorful style. She frequently explores cityscapes, travel impressions, and abstracted landscapes, inviting viewers into a world of imagination and inspiration.
