Sabine Hilscher
Born in 1959 in Hagen-Hohenlimburg, Sabine Hilscher has lived and worked in Windeck-Herchen since 1986.
Painting has been a lifelong companion for Hilscher. Her vibrant and expressive artworks are widely recognized through exhibitions in Germany and abroad. Most of her pieces are created on-site, allowing the unique atmosphere, mood, and her artistic interpretation to flow directly into her work. She has continuously expanded her skills through numerous painting seminars and art journeys both nationally and internationally.
Since 2003, she has been a lecturer at the VHS Rhein-Sieg and teaches for the Schmincke company. She also offers private courses in small groups, providing personalized and expert guidance.
She is the author of the book *"Watercolor Impressions – Freely Interpreted."*
Artistic Approach**
Hilscher has been deeply engaged in watercolor painting since 1994, and more recently, she has explored acrylic techniques. Her works are characterized by a light, fluid, and colorful style. She frequently depicts cityscapes, travel impressions, and abstracted landscapes, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in imagination.
She has enriched her expertise through various painting seminars and art journeys, learning from renowned artists such as Bernhard Vogel, Heribert Mader, Gerhard Almbauer, Voka, and Alvaro Castagnet. To this day, she continues to perfect her craft under the guidance of esteemed mentors.
