Born in 1957 in Anrath, she has been living and working in the western part of Mönchengladbach for nearly 40 years.
She has expanded her skills in both painting techniques and thematic interpretation through seminars held in Germany and abroad.
Among her mentors are renowned artists such as Bernhard Vogel, Simon Fletcher, Gerhard Almbauer, Josef Jan Michnia, Heinz Schweizer, Roos Schuring, and others.

The series "Between the Seas" by artist Christa Zenzes transports viewers to some of Germany’s most beautiful beaches. Whether it’s Hiddensee, Ahrenshoop, Usedom, or Fischland — Christa Zenzes captures the natural beauty and unique charm of each location with vivid color and lively expression.
This oil painting exhibition gently blends the horizon with the blue of the sea. The vastness of the sky and ocean evokes a sense of freedom and happiness. Everything feels in motion — the waves, the grasses of the dune landscapes, the leaves in the trees, and the clouds in the sky.
