Born in 1957 in Anrath, she has been living and working in the western part of Mönchengladbach for nearly 40 years.
She has expanded her skills in both painting techniques and thematic interpretation through seminars held in Germany and abroad.
Among her mentors are renowned artists such as Bernhard Vogel, Simon Fletcher, Gerhard Almbauer, Josef Jan Michnia, Heinz Schweizer, Roos Schuring, and others.

The series "Between the Seas" by artist Christa Zenzes transports viewers to some of Germany’s most beautiful beaches. Whether it’s Hiddensee, Ahrenshoop, Usedom, or Fischland Christa Zenzes captures the natural beauty and unique charm of each location with vivid color and lively expression.
This oil painting exhibition gently blends the horizon with the blue of the sea. The vastness of the sky and ocean evokes a sense of freedom and happiness. Everything feels in motion the waves, the grasses of the dune landscapes, the leaves in the trees, and the clouds in the sky.
At a closer look, the viewer may be reminded of their last seaside holiday spotting walkers between the tides, beach chairs, or seagulls resting in pairs on the shore. A lone wooden boat and the charming reed-thatched roofs complete the idyllic scene.
